Fake photo Fair

As part of a workshop led by the photographer Rudolf Steiner, the students from the advanced photography program at CEPV explore the concept of value in photography what determines the value of an image? How to navigate between economic realities and artistic aspirations? With the students of the advanced photography program, CEPV, FS25:

Estelle Bouchet, Marie Brocher, Indra Crittin, Marvin Estevez-Locatelli, Lucien Giorgis, Maude Gyger, Tessa Racioppi, Nine Sager, Miriam Theus et Romain Violier.

FAKE PHOTO FAIR

Through a Loto/exhibition, set up in record time, the students put their own works into play in a photographic lottery: a raffle where each visitor can try their luck by making a voluntary contribution. A draw will determine the lucky winners, while the funds raised will cover the costs of the event. Blending experimentation, irony, and a critique of the art market, FAKE PHOTO FAIR questions the instability of the artist's status and the paradoxes of professional recognition.
