My photographic practice is rooted in my Latin American origins and my experience as a woman    — two elements that shape my photographic approach. This is why I am drawn to political and historical themes, such as feminism, through the photographic portrait of individuals. This process is marked by encounters and dialogues that allow me to immerse myself in the world of my subjects.

Furthermore, my approach extends to a very tactile practice in which I do not separate image from medium. I want the chosen medium to resonate with the theme. The medium becomes an extension of the idea, the body, and a language in itself that fully contributes to the intention behind the work.
My interest also extends to the field of curation, where I explore the dynamic relationships between artists and the collaborative processes that emerge when working together. I believe that curating an exhibition is not only about displaying works of art but also about fostering dialogue between the artists and the audience and make themes visible. It is about creating a space where different voices can converge, exchange, and challenge one another, resulting in a richer, more diverse experience for everyone involved.

Collaboration is at the heart of my practice, and I enjoy working closely with other artists to explore new perspectives and approaches. I view these collaborations as a way to push the boundaries of individual expression, combining different creative forces to bring out new ideas and narratives.

An exhibition is an opportunity to amplify voices, raise awareness about important social or political issues, and create lasting connections within the art community. trough the importance of collaboration, curating is an extension of my creative practice, and it allows me to actively contribute to the development of contemporary art culture while also giving a platform to diverse artistic expressions.
